Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup each of Purple, Blue, Turquoise, and Lime Green candy melts
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar per color listed above
  • 1/4 tsp of Blue, Purple, Leaf Green, and Turquoise (1/8 tsp of Leaf Green and 1/8 tsp of Blue) powdered food coloring
  • 8 cups of Chex cereal, any type

Instructions

Take 1/3 cup of the blue candy melts and put in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt it at 1/2 power for 30 seconds, stir. Repeat until melted. (watch carefully as it will burn!)

Repeat the same process for all the colored candy melts.

Once done, add in 2 cups of Chex in a bowl. Pour the melted candy melts onto the cereal. Mix until coated.

Use 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar and put it in a ziplock bag. Add in 1/8 tsp of blue food powder coloring, mix. Do this for all the colors.

Take the coated cereal and put it into the bag with sugar. Close and shake well.

Line a baking pan with wax paper and pour out the cereal mixture.

Repeat this process for all colors.

Let the Chex mix dry before combining all the colors. You can then add in sprinkles for fun.
