I was given the chance to review the Cate & Chloe VIP Package in exchange for an honest blog review. That in no way shaped my opinion of this product.
I have received my second half of the Cate & Chloe VIP Package for the month of June. This time around I was not as thrilled. The jewelry I got did not really capture my heart like the necklace did in the first package. Now I could contact them and exchange it for something else that I did like under the terms of their program. However, my boys got their hands on my boxes and had a field day with them so I won’t be doing that. Plus I can easily modify the earrings and use them a lot.
Just to recap again about Cate & Chloe VIP Package :
Cate & Chloe VIP Package is a plan that gives you $200 of Jewelry a month for only $39.99. By using this program you gain two pieces of jewelry delivered to your house every month with free shipping. The way it works is that you get one piece of the popular C&C pieces delivered to your home every fifteen (15) days. All of these packages are sent with totally free shipping. One of these items are pieces of jewelry that isn’t even released yet. You also get to take advantage of free giveaways and be a prize winner. You also gain a dedicated VIP phone and email support representative to handle you’re concerns. The main benefit that I like the most is that if you don’t like any item that you receive you can exchange it for one that you do like.
This time I got the Olivia “Dignity” Stud Earrings and the Julie “Youthful” Bracelet. The earrings are very nice and don’t look very cheaply made at all. The bracelet on the other hand didn’t impress me at all.
The earrings are very nice to look at. I feel they would go beautifully with both jeans and a nice black dress. The downfall though is the backs they provided for the earrings do not securely put the earrings in my ears. I literally turned my head to fast and the earring popped out. That’s a very easy fix and one that I can do with complete ease so that I can still enjoy wearing these earrings. I’m so utterly glad that I have plenty of earring backs to choose from because I do like the earrings a lot.
The bracelet on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately it’s way to big for Zeva at this point, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to wear it. The problem with this bracelet though is the fact that those little beads move up and down on the bracelet. They tend to get all tangled up into little blobs like you see at the end of this bracelet. I couldn’t get them untangled to show you what it looked like when I first got it. I love the concept of the bracelet, but I don’t think it’s very user friendly.
Now, I didn’t want to leave you with a bunch of negatives concerning their products because like I pointed out in the last post they have some really amazing products. Another blogger friend of mine Megan from Mom Spotted got to review the same Olivia earrings and didn’t have the problem that I did with hers. She also got some other adorable pieces that you may want to check out too.
