How hard is it to melt white chocolate chips?

It’s really not hard at all. You’ll have to be pretty careful as to not burn them but as long as you use a microwave-safe bowl and stir to combine and melt every little bit, you should be able to successfully melt the chips without worry.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of caramel chips
  • 1 1/2 cups of white chocolate chips
  • 6-12 Tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of pretzels

Instructions

Start by greasing a loaf pan or small baking tray in 9" x 4" in size.

Put the caramel chips in a microwave-safe bowl.

Once done, put the bowl in the microwave and heat them for 25 seconds. Stir well after each time, reheat as needed.

Next, take and mix in 3-6 Tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk.

After added, take and spread the mixture into the loaf pan. Use the back of a spoon to smooth. Once done, put it in the fridge.

Repeat steps with the white chocolate chips. Once done, spread over the first layer in the pan.

Take and break up the pretzels into small pieces. Press into the wet chocolate. You can also add more white chocolate chips on top, too.

Pop in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight before cutting into squares.
