Blue Cheese and Turkey Club Sandwich

Sharing is caring!

Coming up with breakfast and dinner recipes are fairly easy for me. Lunch recipes, now that is a different story!  I want a healthy lunch, a tasty lunch and one that isn’t going to require me in the kitchen all afternoon. I make it a point to come up with lunches that are quick and tasty. I think I hit the mark with this Blue Cheese and Turkey Club Sandwich and I hope you think so as well.

This sandwich is a more sophisticated version of a traditional club sandwich, made with blue cheese, crispy bacon, deli turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. With a little creativity and some pantry staples, you can transform your ordinary leftover turkey into a delicious and impressive sandwich.

Blue & Turkey Club

I like to think of this Blue Cheese and Turkey Club Sandwich as a fancy version of a traditional sandwich. Just take a look at the ingredients and you will notice right away that this isn’t your average turkey sandwich.

This sandwich can be served for lunch or for dinner. If you make this sandwich for dinner, I suggest serving it with Oven Steak Fries. I personally think that the fries go great with this recipe and they don’t take very long to make.

Can I use Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey for this Sandwich?

Absolutely! Using leftover turkey from Thanksgiving is a great way to make a delicious and budget-friendly Blue Cheese and Turkey Club Sandwich. This sandwich is a gourmet twist on the classic club sandwich, featuring deli turkey breast, crispy bacon, tangy blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise.

This sandwich is the perfect way to elevate your leftovers, and it will impress your family and friends with its bold flavors and textures. Plus, it’s easy to customize with your favorite ingredients and spices, so feel free to swap out the bacon for avocado or add some hot sauce for extra heat.

Once I learned how to cook a turkey in a crockpot, it was a game changer for me. Now, I make turkey throughout the year instead of just the Thanksgiving production. It is so much easier to throw a breast in the slower cooker and gives an amazingly moist turkey!
