As a former homeschooling mom, I am always on the lookout for fun ways to keep my kids’ brains active. We do school during the summer even though the boys don’t realize it. When I was approached about doing a sponsored post for a company I had never heard of, I had to go check it out before I could write anything about it. Holy Moses! This is a fabulous website!
I got Zachary (10) set up on the free trial and he enjoyed playing with it. Then, Tank (5) wanted to play so I let him do it, too. Now, I gotta fork out 40 bucks so I can purchase this game for both boys. Do I care? Not so much, no! LOL!
OK, since we established that I LOVE it, let me tell you what IT even is.
Dreambox adaptive learning program is for all grades. It is a learning game website that fits with most common core state standards for math. If you are a homeschooling parent that plans to re-enter their child in the Public School System sometime in their lives, this is a MASSIVE plus. If you are a regular schooling mom who likes to keep their kids’ brains active in the summer, this is a great program, especially for the rainy afternoons. Or, if you are just looking for some online math curriculum help, this is for you.
At only $20 per child, it is seriously a steal! You can’t hire a tutor for that and a tutor isn’t nearly as fun!
So, while Zack was playing his free trial, I took several screen shots and got some of his opinions. This should help you decide. Let me also point out that this was NOT going to be a review, but I am so impressed by just the little bit that I saw that I couldn’t help getting my opinion out here!
Zack says: Mom, I really like this and want to use it in my “school” for Thomas. Seriously, other kids should try it. I didn’t really feel like I was learning stuff and it was really helpful! I can use it over the summer so I won’t forget all the stuff!
