If you’re hungry, you’ll want to buy (and instantly eat) everything! Have a meal or good snack before you go to avoid impulse purchases.

Oh, and not going to the store with an empty stomach: that inevitably leads to buying too much junk food!

I do all of these items except #8 and #9. That is, when I had a little one I always took him with me. Now he's nearly 12 and a great help at the store.
