Sausage RoTel Dip perfect for Game Day with only three ingredients

3 Boys and a Dog is pretty familiar with rotel dip with hamburger meat. I mean, who isn’t??!! It’s constantly a staple at every tailgating party I attend. Everyone has their way of making their version but to be honest, I really like mine the best! With only 3 ingredients, this sausage rotel dip recipe tastes like the same thing you would get at that buffalo wings chain restaurant. 😉

When it comes to tailgating recipes, I prefer quick and easy.

3 Ingredient Sausage Rotel Dip fits the bill. It takes almost no time or effort to make. This is one of my favorite recipes but we have so many other popular dip recipes, too!

First thing you need to do is cook the meat. I prefer chorizo, it’s a Mexican spiced sausage. If that’s not an option for you, try Italian sausage, ground beef or kielbasa. P

ick what ever you like! The next step is to melt the cheese and Rotel in a sauce pan. Once the the cheese is almost melted, add in the meat. Stir and serve with Tortilla chips. That’s it!

It probably takes about 20 minutes. 3 Ingredient Rotel Dip is a cheese lover’s dream with a kick of spice!

Sausage Velveeta Rotel Dip

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

This Sausage Velveeta RoTel Dip is a cheese lover's dream with a kick of spice! Also, since it only has 3 ingredients, it is super fast and easy!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chorizo or your favorite ground meat or sausage
  • 1 16 oz block of Velveeta
  • 1 can 10.5 oz Rotel
  • Chips

Instructions

Cook chorizo according to package directions. When done cooking, remove chorizo from skillet and place on a plate lined with a thick paper towel to remove excess grease.

Cut Velveeta into cubes. In a warm sauce pan, add Velveeta cubes and undrained Rotel. Stir to prevent burning. When almost all of the Velveeta has melted, add chorizo. Stir and cook until well combined and cheese has melted.

    Serve with chips.
