Sharon is a Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and chef and practices out of the New Jersey Fanwood Wellness Center where she provides her clients with nutrition coaching and cooking instruction. For Sharon, the power of food is everything. In her words, “I am sensitive to many foods, including gluten, and used to suffer from fatigue, weight gain and poor digestion. I was also dependent upon sugar and caffeine to keep me happy and energized, and thought that it couldn’t be hurting me if everyone else was consuming it! Then I got tired of feeling sick. I have since changed my diet and my habits so that I can function at my best, and now am passionate about educating and motivating others to also take control of their health and happiness.”
At the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Sharon studied Integrative Nutrition, which had her looking at over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. She is also certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and Columbia University Teacher’s College. Additionally, she is trained as a Vegetarian Chef at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts.
Sharon helps her clients discover delicious new foods that help rather than hinder. Her private, one-on-one sessions are detailed and in-depth and Sharon works hard to get to the root of the problem. She is not about restricting your diet to the point of unhappiness, but instead modifying and helping her clients make choices that work best for them and their bodies. Her experience is the recipe for helping her clients make lifestyle changes that provide lasting results!
Sharon provides distance coaching and can conduct a session by phone or through Skype, allowing her clients the full benefits of an in-person visit. More information on this and other services she provides can be found on her website: Recipe for A Healthy Life.
