Have you ever wondered what to pack your kids for lunch or what to make your toddler for lunch?
Catherine McCord has too! She takes making food for her two little ones seriously. She scours local farmer’s markets, tends an organic garden, and has tested all of her recipes in her kitchen!
The weelicious blog is a fantastic resource for parents. You can search over 700 recipes, lunch ideas, toddler meals, and even delicious and healthy family meals. Additionally, Catherine maintains a very active Facebook page where she shares pictures of her week’s meals and interacts with foodies, fans, and Moms and Dads.
Her book, Weelicious Lunches, is a treasure trove of healthy and easy lunch ideas for any age. Some favorites of mine include: nature cookies, veggie meatballs, and chicken satay bites.
The pages in the book are beautifully photographed and the directions are clear and easy to follow. In addition to easy to accomplish recipes, McCord offers advice on dealing with food allergies as well as “picky eaters”. All in all, there are more than 160 recipes to try!
What will you make today?
