Ok, this stuff was amazing! There is no other way to say it, it was amazing! LOL! Ricky said, “Oh man! I wish there was a restaurant around here that made stuff like this!” I was like, “Why a restaurant? It is much cheaper if I just make it and it was super easy… seriously, I video taped and the thing was about 9 minutes!”

Romance is in the Air: Hilton Romance Package

Do you have plans for Valentine’s Day? Do you usually make a big deal out of it or is it just another day? For me, it is typically just another day. Ricky and I tell each other “Happy Valentine’s Day” and typically buy something small like M&Ms for me and Reese Cups for him. But, one day, I am hoping to take advantage of the AWESOME romance package available for the entire month of February at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel!

Tell me, who wouldn’t want to take advantage of this romance package? I certainly would, if I didn’t have to also find sitters for the kids. LOL! Breakfast served in bed? Yeah, that certainly intrigues me!

Ricky and I have been married almost 12 years and sometimes I really wish we could get away to somewhere romantic… just the two of us! We go on a trip every year, but we spend most of the trip in meetings and all the other IECs from our Region are with us. In all the years that we have been together, only once did we go somewhere with just the two of us and it was fabulous even though it wasn’t LOL! That is a long story for another day.

I Miss My Bed When I Go On Vacation.

My husband and I LOVE our bed. It isn’t new, it wasn’t a major purchase, it doesn’t have a memory foam mattress topper, it isn’t fancy or anything of that nature. It was actually given to us by a co-worker of Ricky’s because the co-worker was getting divorced.

Still, my bed is one AWESOME bed. It is a feather bed! OMG, it is like sleeping on a cloud. We love it so much. I have been to some really nice hotels that can’t compete with our bed. The 1,000 thread count sheets help, but the cloud is amazing! We even use white, grey, and blue sheets so it helps it to feel like the sky. LOL!

Unfortunately, my bed is dying on me. I am going to have to get a new one before too terribly long, so I have been looking at those memory foam mattress things.

The memory foam mattress topper isn’t expensive at all, but neither in just a memory foam mattress. I was actually amazed by the affordability!

Does anyone have a memory foam mattress or memory foam mattress topper? How do you like them compared to a spring mattress? Do you get hot? I am afraid I would get hot if it were on my bed.

Menu Plan Monday: Ricky Planned It!

I don’t know about you, but I hate choosing what to make. Last night, I told my husband that if he wanted me to cook, he had to help me come up with a menu. It isn’t like it is hard! My gosh, I have a huge list of meals, so all he had to do was choose 5. LOL!
