Quantcast

I am looking for a Regular Contributor!

OK girls, I am looking for a bit of help on my new blog.  This is NOT a paying position… below I will note what it entails and what you get out of it. :-)

What I get out of it:

1.   Fresh content from another perspective

2.  A helper to handle things if I am gone.

What I would expect from you:

1.   At least one random post weekly. (could be a review, an info post, a random musings, etc)

2.  A weekly segment totally by YOU.  For example: maybe you would like to take over Fave Fridays (I seem to be falling back on it) or you have an idea that you would love to do like Tip Tuesday… whatever.  LOL!  Your regular weekly post would go on at the same day and time once a week.  So, if you were going to be out of town one week, you would just pre-schedule the post.

3.  Anything else I may think of later – LOL!

What you get out of it:

1.  You will be listed as a regular contributor on my site with a link to your weekly segment!

2.  You will get your own blurb on the “about me” page with a link to your own blog (if you have one).

3.  When I receive an email from someone asking me to review their product and I am too full or it doesn’t fit my needs, you will be given the option of reviewing it!

4.  Soon as I figure out how to do it, you will have your own 3boysandadog email address!

If this is something you will be interested in, please email me answering the following:

1.  Why do you want to contribute on 3 Boys & a Dog?

2.  What makes you different from the other applicants?

3.  Tell me about you.  Do you have a blog?  Do you write anywhere else? Kids? Husband?  Job?  Talk to me! :-)

4.  What topic would you be interested in posting about? (examples: freebies, crafts, organization, beauty, fashion) and what makes you “qualified” for that topic?

Please take your time responding!  I will not choose anyone until the end of the week.  Your responses will help me determine your writing ability (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc).  Obviously, I am not a writer but I try to keep my errors to the minimum and expect the same out of a contributor.

3 Boys & a Dog is my baby and with the move, I am going to be spending many hours trying to get my readership and links back up to what I have now.  I want to know that I have someone helping me keep up with posts.

I am moving, please come with me!

Howdy y’all!  Really soon I am moving to Mom Cube.  I am super excited about it, but also worried.  I have worked very hard to get my stats up so high and to get the readers that I have.  If I move to a new site, my web address would change and I would be able to do a bit more.  I just don’t want to lose my many loyal followers.

So, would you be willing to update your links to reflect my new address? I think they can move my Google followers to my new blog, but I ma not sure how my RSS feeds and email feeds would work.  I don’t know if they can do that for me or if you guys would have to do it.

I am not moving yet, I am thinking Oct. 15th will kill my blogspot blog and have me at www.3boysandadog.com  I would love to hear your opinions!  Plus, if you have a blog and have moved before, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks!!

P.S. the new website www.3boysandadog.com has some older posts on it right now because we have been testing it.  My technorati tags went hay-wire on it and I will need to go into every post and correct them, but it should be back soon.  You guys shouldn’t notice a huge difference in my layout, except that all older links will be invalid. LOL!

Is Your Classroom Ready for Halloween?

As my Back 2 School Bash is winding down, I am thinking ahead to next month!

We participate in Halloween at our house, so my blog will reflect it.  I have been searching for some fun things on the internet for my boys to do and have been contacting some people about giveaways, reviews, and guest posts!  My entire month is going to be based on Halloween.  I hope that doesn’t scare my readers away that don’t participate!!  I am hoping to also just have Fall Festival type things.

Keep your eyes peeled, in the meantime check out these great printables!

Howdy y’all!  I am trying to figure out what my readers want so I know what direction to take my blog next month. I have had a blast with the Back 2 School Blog Bash, but I can’t be doing a bash every month. :-)

I would appreciate it if everyone could take a few minutes to fill out this form.
