We have already established that I really like Halloween. It is so much fun to dress up and act silly for one night of the year! Besides, I have boys and they love creepy crawlies and an excuse to eat pure junk.
But, being the crafty girl I am, I like making fun foods and what better place to turn than to the Halloween tab on Kraft’s FaceBook page? Full of party planning tips, recipes, and even “how to” videos, it is the perfect place to go when looking for some frightfully fun finger foods for my boys.
From eyeballs, to spooky pumpkins, there are all sorts of ways to make tasty Halloween cupcakes for your little ghosts and goblins. Of course, a big part of the fun is in the baking, so be sure to involve your kids in the process. What kid doesn’t like stirring the batter or testing out the frosting?
Then, once the Halloween cupcakes are out of the oven and have had a chance to cool off, set up a decorating station with various colored frostings and candies. Before you know it, marshmallows will transform into ghosts. Chocolate chips will become skull eyes and licorice will turn into spider legs or witches’ hair.
