How did you do yesterday? Did you remember to link up yesterday’s contest submission?
Elmer’s is making it easier to be eco-friendly on Earth Day – and beyond. To coincide with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Elmer’s is inviting parents to get involved in the Elmer’s Glue Crew through the “40 Days of Earth-Friendly Living.” The campaign kicks-off on Earth Day (today) and offers a 40-day calendar of eco-friendly tips and ideas for parents and children to do together.
MAY 18th – Day #27
Recycle electronics such as computers and DVD players. “eCycling” reduce pollution from hazardous elements inside electronics and recycles natural resources such as copper and gold.
Mom Says: As of now, we don’t have an ecycling center. Plus, I worked in a Landfill Office for quite some time and they were working on offering eCycling, but the only way to do it would be to charge people for each electric item they brought it. I don’t want to have to pay someone to get rid of my trash! Anyone have a better solution? ![]()
Be sure to link your post, etc up below!
I will be posting each daily activity as well as a Mck Linky. You should write a blog post, facebook post, Whrrl photo book, YouTube video, Twitter, etc of what you are doing and include it in the linky. At the end of the 40 days, I will randomly choose one person (via Random.org) to win this awesome backpack of Elmer’s goodies
How is that for going green, involving your family, and possibly winning a little something. Plus, you get to leave your links somewhere.
Just can’t beat this contest, can you?
Be sure your link is a direct link to the post, tweet, facebook post, etc o each day’s challenge! You may come back each day to add your new daily link.
*LINKY WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL JUNE 1st at MIDNIGHT* THE LINKY’S ON EACH DAILY POST WILL BE THE EXACT SAME ONE*
