I always love enjoying watching my children play.  Nothing makes more proud then watching them learn threw their movement. I have said more than once (and I am sure I am not alone in this) that I wish I had their energy level!  Pampers want to encourage this energy and “little athletes” .  They are doing this by launching it’s Limited Edition “USA” diapers and wipes designs. They have also partnered up with the one and only two-time Olympic Games Gold Medalist(Beach Volleyball) and Team USA Hopeful, Kerri Walsh. GIVEAWAY: Pampers Gives Families a Chance!

 GIVEAWAY: Pampers Gives Families a Chance!The winner for the trip will be drawn on May 21st. Guess what? Not only are the giving away a trip for a family of 4, but they are also drawing at random each week between now and August 12 for a special prize pack. The prize pack will include  a one month’s supply of Pampers Limited Edition “USA” diapers and wipes.

Pampers Limited Edition “USA” diapers and wipes combines utility and aesthetics.  This helps encourage the little ones to explore and play.  What makes the “USA” diapers stick out from the other diapers is they have the USA logo printed combined with red, white and blue stars and stripes design.  These diapers are available in Cruisers Size 3 through 5.
 GIVEAWAY: Pampers Gives Families a Chance!
Kerri Walsh (Pampers sponsored athlete)  is also the epitome of  P & G’s  ”Thank You, Mom” campaign. The campaign recognizes the important role that we as mothers play in our children’s life. P&G hopes to raise $5 million which will help establish youth sports programs around the world.

Outside of the “Team USA Sweeps” Pampers also built a new platform on the Pampers site called Pampers Playground.  It has three sections that are for sections that we(parents) can use to explore with are little ones: Picnic Table, Toy Box, and Park bench. The picnic table gives us parents a chance to upload and share photos and videos of all the different ways our babies like to play. The toy box provides fun tools and games to help our babies to play. Such as an interactive story book. Lastly the park bench offers articles detailing the importance  of play for little ones.

As a mom I only wish there were more companies out there that care as much as Pampers does for our children and the products and services the provide for them.

GIVEAWAY: The Story of You Digital Baby Book

index3 300x143 GIVEAWAY: The Story of You Digital Baby BookOne thing I have been very good at when it comes to marking milestones for my kids is that I do actually write them down. The problem is that I haven’t actually sat down and put together baby books for any of my children and all the information is scattered around in various locations (in case anyone doesn’t know, I have 4, the oldest is 7!). I started scrapbooking when my first child was six months old and I have about 2 years of her life paper scrapbooked, then I had baby number two and I started on his paper scrapbook, then I switched to digital scrapbooking. By that point, I was so far behind for my first two kids, that by the time number three and four came well, let’s just say I’ve been a little busy. With my third child though, I have managed to prepare a photo book for each of his 2 years and I will continue to do that for him but I don’t have an actual baby book for any of my children.

The Story Of You will change the way parents create and share Baby Books. This app guides you through the creation of a digital baby book that journals your baby’s milestones and special moments. With the use of your digital photos, videos and words, a narrative of your baby’s first years comes to life in a way to truly take you back to those special moments that can now last a lifetime.

I am in love with this app! It’s perfect for me because we as a family have been aiming to use and have as little paper in our house as possible and so to have a digital version of a baby book fits right in line with that goal. Plus, it’s always “right” in front of me so when I have a new milestone to record I just hop into the app, click on the appropriate child’s book and enter in the milestone. Another great thing is I don’t have to worry about making an error or using my best handwriting. If I mess up the date or spell a word wrong I simply backspace and redo, love, love, love! icon smile GIVEAWAY: The Story of You Digital Baby Book

storyofyouArrival 300x219 GIVEAWAY: The Story of You Digital Baby BookAs you are creating your book you can easily switch over to view the book in an interactive mode and see how it is coming along. What I was really pleased with, is that on some of the pages there are entries that don’t apply to us — for instance, with my fourth child we didn’t have a baby shower so there isn’t a need to have a baby shower section — so although it is there to be filled in, when you look at the book itself those pages aren’t included, something you don’t get with traditional paper baby books. When you are ready you can share your book with up to five family or friends who also have a Mac or iPad and you can add five additional recipients for $0.99.

EditBookBLUE 300x219 GIVEAWAY: The Story of You Digital Baby Book

It’s a new app and they have a lot of growth but they are listening to their users and have an update coming later this year which will have a printing interface and more customization of the look of the themes. I can’t wait to see what the update brings.

This app would make a great gift for any new parents or even for people who already have kids and are looking to easily record milestones in a digital format. The Story of You is available in the App Store for $5.99. Please note that there are separate versions for the Mac and iPad.

Win it!

GIVEAWAY: Got ‘Em – A Family Friendly Board Game

Full Game 283x300 GIVEAWAY: Got Em A Family Friendly Board GameMy kids are always bugging me to play a game with them, but lets face it there are only so many times in one day I can play Guess Who or Pictureka! I love games and I am always on the look out for a games that our family can play together. Got ‘Em is a game of strategy that even my five year old was able to grasp! (though not as viciously as me! LOL)

There are two ways to play the game with the Bright Got ‘Em rules and the Brainy Got ‘Em rules for more advanced players. The rules are very simple and very easy to follow. And set up was a breeze. After opening the package we were playing in less then 5 minutes after reading the rules and setting things up. I played with my seven and five year old kids and they did quite well (it’s recommended for ages 8+). I had to read the cards for my five year old as he isn’t quite yet reading but that didn’t have any affect on the game play. The object of the game is to place walls and trap your opponents’ pawns before they trap your. Once a pawn is trapped they are eliminated and game play continues until  all but one pawn has been trapped (hopefully not your own icon wink GIVEAWAY: Got Em A Family Friendly Board Game ) Once a player is eliminated, “it is customary to yell “Got ‘Em” and do a little dance” (I had to chuckle when I read that in the rules).

Giveaway: Picture Collage Maker Pro Giveaway {$39.99 value – 20 winners}

Picture Collage Maker Pro has to be one of the easiest digital scrapping softwares I’ve used in a long time.  I normally like to do free form digital scrapbooking because it’s super fun for me but lately I’ve noticed that my pictures are still hiding in my computer and my time is super limited (more than normal).  So I decided to use their templates and wizards instead of being completely creative about this and I was super impressed with the results:

Children Flowers11 300x225 Giveaway: Picture Collage Maker Pro Giveaway {$39.99 value   20 winners}

They have TONS of templates to choose from and you can change the background, add pictures, add clip art (which I did with the flowers and clouds)…it was easy-peasy!  Just select, click, drag and drop!  My only initial complaint with the wizard was that I wasn’t able to add text to it BUT I finally figured it out…so my suggestion would be to make it easier to add text to the picture but it really wasn’t too hard to do that.  If you can’t read the poem, it says:

“Children are like flowers,

Water them with love,

and they will bloom!”

Then I saved my picture collage and wanted to see if it would fit on the header of my new Facebook timeline as a cover foto and it was pretty close to being perfect (minus the flowers that didn’t show, but that’s okay)….it’s adorable anyway…so I was able to add my little poem when I posted it on Facebook instead, which made me happy.  :)

Since I wanted to create more projects and noticed that it had a “download more templates” link, clicked it and a bunch of NEW choices were available on their website online…so I downloaded some for Mother’s Day!  This time I played with the template lots more…it is super easy to change things too, this one had four photos originally but I only wanted two, so I deleted them and voila!  I created for my mom for Mother’s Day!

For Mom1 225x300 Giveaway: Picture Collage Maker Pro Giveaway {$39.99 value   20 winners}

Using the program was easy, quick and I can see me taking advantage of their templates and wizards to blow the dust off the pictures hiding in my computer and start sending updates for my mom and other family since we’ve moved to the North East.  So what else can Picture Collage Maker do?  In just minutes (literally) you can create more than just photo collages:

  • greeting cards
  • photo calendars
  • scrapbook pages
  • and other art work

All in all, it’s a great program to have if you have children and your time is limited but you want to create cute picture collages and look like you are a professional digital scrapbooker….shhh…no one needs to know you used the template and wizard!  :)  Download now for FREE! (15 day free trial)

Ready to order?  You can do it online right now for only $39.99 (or if you want to go Pro with it, it’s a little more) by visiting Picrture Collage Maker’s website.

Want to win it?
Twenty (20) friends of 3 Boys and a Dog will receive (winners will receive the license code and download link), here’s what you need to do:

Required:  Go to the Picture Collage Maker website and leave a comment with a project you’d like to do if you win.
