Thermolon™ is a better heat conductor than traditional coatings. This results in superb searing and crispy frying! The excellent heat distribution also allows even cooking, which makes the food brown beautifully. It allows you to mostly cook on low to medium temperatures.

Thermolon is a better heat conductor than regular coatings… I find it to be true! Honestly, why else would I slowly be replaces my expensive pots and pans with them?

Review: Kenmore Elite 30 Freestanding Electric Range #cookmore Earlier this Winter, I told you that I was getting some new toys! Well, I got them and am totally in LOVE!

Let me tell you a bit about my new stove in true Kelli fashion!

The Kenmore Elite 30” Freestanding Electric Range—Stainless Steel is a masterpiece for the at-home Chef! The ceramic glass cooktop features one 12-inch triple, one 9-inch Turbo Boil™ and two 6-inch radiant elements. PLUS, it has a food warmer element in the middle back! I love that part! I can cook something and move it off to free up another eye but keep it warm. No more reheating right before putting food on the table.

Kenmore says that the 5.8 cubic-foot oven accommodates three full racks of food and it they are not kidding! I made a ton of cookie kisses 2 weeks ago… I have 3 mini-muffin pans and all three fit PLUS I could have fit six as they will go in long-ways! Since it features true convection, which combines a hidden heating element and a fan to roast and bake food faster and more evenly than conventional ovens, I didn’t have to worry about the top rack cooking faster than the bottom rack. Perfect cookies every time! Now, I have to buy 3 more mini-muffin pans. Nice, right?

Back in October, I told you about the fabulous Kenmore Grab-N-Go Refrigerator, discussed my kitchen re-do, and talked about needing appliances. In fact, in that post I gave you a quick video run-down of my falling apart stove and fridge.

Fast forward a couple months and I received an out-of-the-blue email asking if I were still interested in reviewing a new Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. Um.. yes, please!

So, over the next several months, I will be talking about my products!

What Large Appliances I am Receiving:

Not only will I be receiving these appliances to play with, cook on, store food in, and admire in my redone kitchen, but I will also be posting on Kenmore’s CookMore site regularly as a Featured Foodie! Yes, seriously!

Kenmore has been in homes for 100 years and I know why! Kenmore products are made-to-last and I am excited about getting some Kenmore products back in my kitchen. I had a Kenmore fridge in my house when my husband and I first got married. It was the first purchase we ever made. Unfortunately, that fridge went with Hurricane Katrina!

Get the kids in the kitchen with Joie Shop!

Now that my kids are getting older they are ready to explore and do their own things. They don’t really need me anymore. I miss being able to hold them in my arms and just have that one on one quality time with them. Now in order to get that quality time I have to be a little creative. Luckily I have Joie Shop to help me out on that. Joie Shop has a variety of kitchen tools that are meant for encouraging kids to help you in the kitchen.

I received four different things from Joie Shops. I got the:

Monster Fun Bowl & Spoon
Kitch Gadgets Stainless Steel Pizza Cutter.

Everyone has their own opinion on what their favorite tool is and why. Mine is the Oink Oink Microwave Lid. I love this lid because, well truth is I hate cleaning the microwave and this solves that problem. I can cook bacon, no problem, in the microwave and don’t have a mess to clean up afterwords. My daughter likes this one as well, but she LOVES bacon and always wants to help me make it. In the past I told her “no” because of the grease popping. Now with this lid she can help make the bacon. But when I asked her what her favorite tool was she said the Monster Fun Bowl and Spoon. Her reasoning was “It’s purple. Purple is my favorite color so it has to be mine!” My son loves the Kitch Gadgets Stainless Steel Pizza Cutter. His reasoning is pretty simple as well, “I love pizza. So anything that makes eating pizza easier is a win for me!!” Gotta love the thinking process of children. However, I have to agree with him a little. The pizza cutter makes cutting pizza a whole lot easier. Also, cleaning it is a lot easier than most pizza cutters. The knife part pops out so you can clean all sides at once. The MooMoo timer is pretty cute as well. My daughter’s head-start teacher really liked this one. She uses it a lot for timing Zoey on projects.

Usually I am not a big fan of cooking, but now it has turned into my special one on one time with my children. I no longer have to fight to get my kids to help me or to spend time with me. Cooking has become fun for both me and my children all because of these fun, unique, and easy kitchen tools!!
