Boxed Lunch Ingredients:

You can find a printable recipe with instructions and ingredients below, but I like to show the ingredients list with (affiliate) links to help you see what we used for this box.

We may not have included all ingredients above, like pantry staples. So be sure to reference the entire recipe card below!

How do you keep a Bento Lunch warm?

You don’t! You actually want to keep it cool – bacteria grows in warm and moist environments.
All you need to do is to reheat the food, let it cool down completely before closing the bento box, and then keep the bento cool with an ice pack the whole time until lunchtime. Heat the meal in the microwave to make it hot.

Options for this Bento Box Idea:

  • Julienne some peppers if your child likes them.
  • You can include sliced mushrooms.
  • If your child doesn’t like English muffins, use flatbread!
