This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Social Power. All opinions are 100% mine.
Many of us save for a year (or years) in order to take our family on vacation, but the biggest money issue is not the park or attraction tickets. In many cases, it isn’t even the accomodations… it is the food! If you go to waterparks, theme parks, or other fun places with the family, it is going to cost you more than the ticket to get in to feed your family! Why is that? It irks me, especially since typically the food is not that great.
A recently launched, New-York based start up called Social Power is on a mission to resolve issues such as mine above! Social Power want to use the power of social media to help make a difference in our everyday lives by garnering interest in the things that can be easily resolved and afect many of us.
“It’s a new type of platform for a new type of world,” says Social Power’s co-founder and president, Daniel Gleich. “We all love disruptive technologies, because they change the game and, in many cases, empower people. We see Social Power as both.”
The way Social Power works is simple. First, users post the most important, resolvable issues affecting them as well as others. Once a user shares that issue on the site, Social Power works to raise awareness for it within its own social network, while the issue creator does the same in his or hers.
Do you have an issue that annoys you, depletes your pocket book for no apparant reason, or just plain makes you angry? take it to Social Power! If you get enough votes, Social Power will make it an issue and try to get it resolved. Cool, right?
