Last week, I told you about my little girl, Annie.    I was out of town for 5 days and upon my return, I was trying to get into the house and I could hear my dog hollering at the top of her little lungs.  Just whining and hollering!  My kids were like, “Oh hey Mom” and my husband was just a quick pecking kiss and a “Hey Babe.”  The dog, however, was falling all over herself, scraping up my legs, and trying everything to get into my lap!  She was so happy to have me home!

Is your Dog like that?  Or is your best friend great in another way?

Annie is seriously the sweetest dog in the entire world and the softest!  She is only spoiled a little bit and the kids complain that I would choose her over them.  I would NEVER do that, BUT…

  • she doesn’t complain
  • she doesn’t argue with me or anyone else
  • she eats anything I give her
  • she is always happy to see me
  • she informs me when someone is at the door
  • and she protects me!

Hmmm….. LOL!

Purina® Pro Plan® is asking passionate pet owners across the country to put their dog’s greatness on display in the “How is Your Dog Great?” video contest. From now until August 27, 2012, pet owners can upload a short film, less than two minutes in length, to the Pro Plan YouTube channel. Entries should demonstrate moments along their dog’s journey toward greatness that inspire others to discover greatness in their dog. The grand prize winner who best captures their dog’s inherent greatness will have their winning video featured in a Pro Plan commercial. The commercial will be unveiled at the 2013 Westminster Dog Show, presented by Purina Pro Plan. The winner will also receive a year’s supply of Pro Plan brand dog food. For additional information and full contest entry details and rules, please visit the Pro Plan YouTube channel.

One of the worst things about living in this apartment building is not being able to have a dog. I miss having a dog so much. But I will not buy a dog and make him live on the 3rd floor of an apartment. I know it's ok but personally in my opinion it's not what a dog need. I guess if I was to get a real small dog it would be find but I do not want a small dog. One and only benefits of having no dogs? You can drop food and pick it up and it eat without thinking twice lol.
