I found out about this awesome new addition to the Fisher-Price Website…Moments of Joy. It is a fantastic place to post past (or present) memorable moments! You know, the ones that you have to blog about, put on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram or email out. They are even having a contest right now as they start up and they’re giving out $100 every week and there will be a grand prize winner of $1000 in Fisher-Price toys! The contest ends on December 20th. I was asked to submit ten of my favorite moments in photo, video, or story form. Since I take lots of pictures, I mostly did those!
About Fisher-Price (from their website)
“It was 1930 when Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their talents to create a different kind of toy company. With the Great Depression looming, it may not have been the best time to launch a new business. Luckily, the whimsical nature and magical surprises of their first toys quickly caught on. And they became lasting hallmarks of Fisher-Price products. Another enduring legacy is the founder’s creed, calling for:
- Intrinsic play value
- Strong construction
- Good value for the money
These principles still guide us in our decisions today.
As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of babygear and preschool toys, Fisher-Price believes deeply in the power of innovation and fun to bring out the full potential of the world’s children. We continue to grow around the world, conducting business in 145 countries and producing toys in more than 37 languages.
My Submitted Photos/Videos
These are the ones that I submitted to Moments of Joy. I kept to recent ones in this past year, and it was so hard to choose! My kids had a lot of firsts this year and they’re always cute! It is super easy to find the website and add pictures/videos or stories. You can add them from your computer, Facebook, Instagram or Webcam! It went pretty fast and when you’re done (you can add as many as you want), you can see other’s moments of joy! I think moments of joy are desperately needed right now when there is so much sadness!
Making a fish face for the first time!
Riding a bike for the first time
Fishing for the first time
“Playing” the guitar
