Dolch Sight Words Worksheets: Week 20

Sharing is caring!

We are only two weeks away from being completed finished with all 220 Dolch Sight Words – crazy, huh?  After nearly 20 weeks of doing this, I had one of my dear friends tell me that she didn’t even know what Dolch Sight Words were, so for you dear friend…

The Dolch word list is a list of frequently used English words compiled by Edward William Dolch, a major proponent of the “whole-word” method of beginning reading instruction. The list was prepared in 1936 and was originally published in his book Problems in Reading in 1948.

I just found your blog through cornerstoneconfessions.com and I love it! My daughter is just learning how to read and I love anything I can use to help her learn. Thank you! :) PS: I love your logo.

Thanks so much! I just love Cornerstone Confessions so it makes me feel good that you found me by way of that site!

Reading is one of the most important skills we can possess, huh?

For the logo - thank you so very much!! My husband took what was in my head and draw it out for me. Then, I paid someone to digitize it. So, since it was drawn by my hubby it is extra special. :-)
