We are only two weeks away from being completed finished with all 220 Dolch Sight Words – crazy, huh?  After nearly 20 weeks of doing this, I had one of my dear friends tell me that she didn’t even know what Dolch Sight Words were, so for you dear friend…

The Dolch word list is a list of frequently used English words compiled by Edward William Dolch, a major proponent of the “whole-word” method of beginning reading instruction. The list was prepared in 1936 and was originally published in his book Problems in Reading in 1948.

      For the logo – thank you so very much!! My husband took what was in my head and draw it out for me. Then, I paid someone to digitize it. So, since it was drawn by my hubby it is extra special. :-)
