You see the people all over Facebook, news channels, and the web in general saying how they won a TV for a dollar, a $25.00 gift card for a nickel! Well, good for them but it isn’t that simple! Before you can try to win that item for $1.00 you have to bid on it and bids cost money! People should say that it only took them 200 bids and $1.00 to win that television!
So, yeah… you buy bids at $0.60 each and then start bidding. The auction clock resets each time someone bids. It is annoying and frustrating to say the least. You can set up automated bids, but not to the price you want to go, simply to the number of bids you are willing to use. So, if you set up 5 automated bids and it goes to 500.00 before your bids go in, you could end up spending hundreds of dollars on a $25.00 gift card.
I just want to say, I spent an entire day using up my bids. I bid on big things and I bid on little things. I used the bid buddy to automatically place some bids for me and I still didn’t win a single thing! I spent quite a bit of money on 180 bids and won NOTHING! Yes, I am currently in the process of a paypal dispute to get my money back. Supposedly you are guaranteed to win, but I won nothing!.
Don’t do it… it isn’t worth the money and it feels like a scam to me!!
