NerdMom had some greta resources for fractions. But the question I asked her I will ask here: Any tips for teaching things you don’t really enjoy?

Make it fun! If you don’t enjoy it, chances are neither does your child. Personally, I HATE math and find that the best way to get my kids to understand it (and to keep me from going insane) is to use it in every day things: Cooking, shopping , building, science experiements, etc. THey don’t even realize they are learning math and you don’t quite feel as if you are teaching it.
