Don’t know if it will take off or not, but I am playing along.   You know that I am all about linking to other bloggers, so this is right up my alley.   I started with a recent commenter on my blog and just went from there.  For complete rules, please click the above picture.

The rules:

1. Start on your own blog
2. Click on a link to another blog. On that blog, click a link to another blog,  that leads to another and another until you get to 6 clicks.
3. Once you arrive on your "six degrees" blog, leave a comment saying "Hey! Found you through six degrees of blogging.  You are featured on my blog!” (Leave your blog URL so they can find you.)
4. THEN, on your own blog, write a super quick post that includes the Six Degrees Button and a quick blurb saying who you found and something nice about them and/or their blog.  **Encourage your readers to stop by their blog as well and leave some comment love!

We took a break from Disney Parks and Universal Studios Wednesday because:

1. We were tired
2. Our Feet Hurt
3. The Boys Were Getting a Bit Crazy
4. Tank is S.I.C.K!  Yes, very!

But, we have had a really good time!  Day #1 saw us in Magic Kingdom.  We stayed from 1 hour before the parks opened until 11:30 pm. 

Day #2 saw us in Animal Kingdom.  I know most people don’t like Animal Kingdom, but it is my favorite and has always been.   We stayed from open to close. The exchange students we brought leave the hotel (to head to the parks)hours after we do and leave them hours before we do.  As we said, “That is the difference in spending your own money to come or spending mom and dad’s money.”    When it is your own, you don’t want to waste it, so get in as much time as you can. LOL! 

Anyway, the point of this email was just to catch up a bit.  I am sitting in the room waiting for the timer to go off so I can give Tank another breathing treatment and thought I should at least try to type up a post or two.  I will head to McDonald’s later to upload them all.  LOVE Windows Live Writer.

16 Balls in the Air – Oh, I just loved Emily!  She was so funny and we ended up beside each other many times during the writing track. 

Eastern Shore Mom – Aubrey is a sweetheart.  She is a couponing queen and in fact is coming to my town soon to teach a class!  The best thing is that she lives about 30 minutes from me.  I am so excited about this!

Oh Hey, What’s Up? – Corrin is HILARIOUS!  Seriously, she is super funny. 

Yes, I will have a bunch of Blissdom posts going on the next few days as I try to work through all the stuff I brought home with me. LOL!  Plus, I leave for 9 days at Disney on the 13th! So, I am running short on time.  YIKES!

I was at CVS today wishing they carried school shoes and uniforms and came home from there to find an email about school shoes.  Creepy?  I think of it more like a sign. LOL! Watch my ADD mind work… see if you can follow this.

Do you know that buying school shoes is a science?  Seriously! You have to have a degree in shoe sizing to buy them. That would be Kelli Miller, MSS to you.

Y’all think I am kidding…  buying shoes has an art to it.  About.com has a Shoe Guide!  Yes, a SHOE GUIDE!  Just for shoes! And they have a 6 step process for fitting shoes.  It is really hilarious if you think about it.  But, it gives me fodder for a post, so you get to see all the amazing shoe things out there.

Wikipedia has an entire page on shoe sizes, too!  A shoe size is an alphanumerical indication of the fitting size of a shoe for a person. Do what? Say that again?

Start Rite Shoes even has a contest to win free shoes for a year.  Hmmm, wonder if they know what they are getting into with that.  If I were able to buy free shoes for a year, I would have to add on to my house.   What about you? 50 bucks says there are rules to keep you from getting to addicted to the free shoe thing.

Homeschoolers, you need a project for your child?  Have them find out about shoe sizing and shoe sizes.  You will be amazed at the wealth of info out there.  I am telling you, shoe sizing…. who knew?

And all of that because I need to buy my middle boy some new school shoes. Gosh, I LOVE blogging.

I have mentioned it and if you follow me on Twitter, you have seen it a TON… but, I am going to Blissdom and I am STOKED!

As an International Exchange Coordinator, I have been to numerous conferences and I have been to a few eBay Live events, but I have never attended a Blog Conference.  So, in one week, I will be going to my first ever blog conference!

There are going to be so many things going on that are not actually Blissdom related, but that hasn’t stopped me from registering for them! 

Here is my list of what I am most looking forward to:

1.  The Long Drive – yes, it sounds funny! The drive is really close to 10 hours for me and I have conned my (non-blogging) mom into going to Nashville with me so that I don’t have to drive alone.  She and her 2 exchange students will have a great vacation, but we will have fun driving together!

2.  Meeting so many women in the same boat as me. A stay-at-home mom, turned blogger, trying to make my place in the HUGE world wide web.

3. The Country {INN}troduction Party!  This, before Blissdom, party is going to be great fun!  The last time I looked, there was still space available!  Click above to register!  So many people will be in attendance and there will be swag and door prizes like you wouldn’t believe:

On Friday night, I will be attending the Savvy Blogging Roundtable Dinner.  This event is full, but you can still learn bunches by following the #SavvyBlogging hashtag on Twitter.  These girls stay busy answering questions to help bloggers and asking questions to make us think.  I am going to learn so much at this dinner and meet many interesting ladies!  Plus, come on, gotta love SWAG! I WILL be organized at my FIRST CONFERENCE EVER!

6.  I get to pull out all my cute clothes!  I worked in an office moon ago… yes, a REAL one that I went to every day!  All those adorable skirts, slacks, jackets, shifts, sweaters, etc have been hanging (lonely) in my closet.  I am able to pull them out and wear them again!  You know, instead of Ricky’s sweatpants and t-shirts! Wondering what to wear to Blissdom?  Musings of a Housewife has written a wonderful post!

7.  Harry Connick, Jr.  Seriously, I am not THAT impressed about it being Mr Connick himself, guess I am just too young or too country to appreciate him.  I mean, I am kinda nervous about meeting a star, because I live in the country and we just don’t have stars down here.   I haven’t said anything, because many of the Blissdom-goers have been doing some serious drooling over this fact and I haven’t wanted to deal with the wrath of 500 women in love, by stating my opinions… But, if we had George Strait, oh my gosh!!! We all “need a Little Twang” honey! My husband would have to be worried. Yeah, I said it. LOL!

8.  Meeting Jyl of The Post-It Place!  I have spent many hours on the phone with her over the past several months, she will be my roomy, we are teaming up to bring you the CountryParty and the We Blog! Conference, yet we have never met in REAL LIFE! I am so excited about this and simply can’t wait!

9.  All the Sessions! I can’t decide if I want to do the writing track or the business track.  There are many that I want to do on both… wonder if I can switch them up or if I have to choose one track and stick with it.  If we have to choose just one track, I think I will go with writing since I know Jyl is going with Business and we can share knowledge in the evenings. LOL!

10.  Me Time!  Yes, I am going to miss my kids and my husband!  Plus, although mom is driving up with me, she is not rooming with me so I won’t see her from the time we arrive until we get ready to head back out.  This is the first time I have ever done anything totally on my own (yes, I am 30 LOL!) and I am really excited about it!
