#Recipe #Organization Sources Wanted!

With the Holidays coming up, we are all collecting recipes and getting ready to share some. I am working on a post (or possibly a series of posts) for my homemaking deal site and wanted to come to you for sources and products. You (or your client) will be quoted as a source with a keyword link of choice. If you want to submit a product for recipe organization (apps, software, hard products) or even sources for more recipes (books, apps, DVDs, etc) they will be considered.

I don’t have any specific questions for this just basically want you to share your tips. How do you organize recipes, do you have recommended categories? Want to share photos of your recipe organization? Do you use online, computer, notebooks, or card box? Think: who, what, when, where, and how. I started my subscription about a month ago…there is so much to do on there it is amazing. You can set up my family members, scan and upload some important documents such as birth certificates, marriage license, receipts, insurance, church documents, etc. You can upload your pictures, yes you heard right! You can upload pictures and add a blurb to each photo to help you remember important events, dates, or milestones. I loved the address book and birthday and anniversary reminders which can be set to email you ahead of time to help you remember special dates in our ever so busy lives. It wasn’t easy trying to get all the pictures together, scanning old picture (pre-digital era) and getting them from my sisters who are in Florida to create this book for my mom’s birthday. But we did it! YAY!!! I placed the order not too long ago and I picked regular shipping, to my surprise the book was printed and shipped and on my door steps in just a few days. When I opened the box this little memorabilia came in, I was so amazed at the quality of the book inside and out. It is a hard cover book, which makes it even prettier and the fact that MixBook allows you to customize the cover makes it ever more personable. I think this is really the best photo book I’ve ever made because of the high print quality, the ease of use to create it and the time it took to put together, plus the promptness in shipping that I have ever had. Again, the creating of the book was super easy, compared to other companies I have used in the past I really love the Scrapbook feel I got from the program on their website used to create the books. To say the least, I am really impressed and will be using them for my family’s printing needs!

I wanted to post the book on here but couldn’t. Wordpress can’t support MixBook’s Flash videos, I posted the photo book on my blog (on blogger) in case you are interested in seeing it.
