Blogging Basics: Planning Your Conference Schedule #BlogHer

I’ll be Tweeting at #BlogHer11!

Yep, I am so going to be there this year and my schedule is just slightly packed. SmileTo be honest, I am not sure I am going to be able to make every event, but I am going to try my hardest!  I must say, before you head to ANY type of conference, you better make some plans.  Although this is my first BlogHer trip, I have been to many different conferences (not just blogging ones) in my day and the worst ones are the ones I am not prepared for.  I need to know what things I want to see and make a plan to fit them in.  Otherwise, I get stuck at one thing for the entire time and get home disappointed that I wasted my time.

I arrive around 10:30 am

3:00 pm until ? – Tropimomma BlogHer Intro and WIN Video Interviews (can you say NERVOUS!?)

6:00 PM until 8:00 PM – Evening at the Expo:  oooh, networking! My favorite part of blogging conferences.

8:00 pm until 11:00 pm – I’m With the Brand!  Clever Girls Collective Party

8:00 am until 9:00 am – Breakfast

9:00 am until 10:00 am – You can find me at the PepsiCo/Tropicana Promenade working!  I will be taking pictures and videos of my old and just-met blogging peeps so come find me at Booth 401!  I honestly think working the PepsiCo/Tropicana booths have me pretty dang excited!  I don’t have to walk up to anyone because they will be walking up to me.  Whew!  Makes the bloggy nerves just a bit quieter.

10:15 am until 12:00 pmGatorade Sports Moms Event:  Oh yeah, this one has my boys salivating! They couldn’t care less about all the “girl stuff” but the fact that I am not only going to be meeting a registered dietitian for a top professional football team and the mom of an NFL player… but also a Celebrity Athlete!  Trying to think who Gatorade sponsors on Nascar so I can mess with my oldest son even more and say that is who I met. LOL! On the other hand, I would LOVE to meet either of the Manning boys or Serena Williams! #imjustsayin’ LOL!

12:00 until 1:15 – Lunch! Thanks goodness.. after all of the above, I am going to need a breather.

1:15 until 2:30 – Minding Your Own Business:  Connecting With Brands from the Inside Out!  My first class of the event.  Yes, they do actually have classes. LOL!  The good news is, with my ticket I can get the presentations of all the classes, so I feel better knowing that considering I am going to be missing a ton that I am interested in.

2:45 pm until 4:15 pm – Sofa Summit with Sarah Brokaw!  Oh I am excited about this, too!  LOL!  Honestly, who am I kidding?  I am excited about everything!

4:30 pm until 6:00 pmSmores Snacktivity Suite

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Lulu’s BlogHer Mixer

8:00 pm until 11:00 pm – You-Phoria.  There isn’t a whole bunch of info on this one, but since it is One2One Network, I am assuming it is going to be tons of blogging fun!

9:00 pm until 1:00 am – Sparklecorn.  I won’t be dressed up, but I am hoping to swing by this official BlogHer party for a bit because it seems like it is going to be a blast!

Sometime between 10 am and 6 pm – BSM Media MomSelect “Meet and Greet” Swag Suite

7:00 AM until 7:30 AMQuaker Wake Up Workout with Bob Harper!

9:00 AM until 10:00 AM – Tropicana/Quaker Breakfast

10:15 am until 11:15 am – Tropicana/PepsiCo Place working the booth.  Come find me, I will be doing fun things like conducting interviews and more!

12:00 pm until 1:30 pm – Keynote Speech by PepsiCo CEO, Indra Nooyi!

1:30 pm until 2:45 pm – Minding Your Own Business:  Your Blog Can Make You a Local Hero

3:00 pm until 4:15 pm – Room of Your Own:  How to Create Kick Rear Proposals

4:15 pm until 7:00 pm – I have a break!  You might find me blogging on the floor in a corner somewhere!

7:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Secret Style Suite – I can’t tell you about this because it is a secret Smile
