I had the pleasure of having my son try it out himself for several weeks. He is six years old and right at the cut off age of it being appropriate for him. However, he loved going through the activities and testing them all out. He felt it was definitely perfect Kindergarden work. He really enjoyed the Art and Music portion of this program since we don’t personally spend a lot of time on those subjects at home. Since he has a love of knowing what day it is and the weather he enjoyed reviewing the Weather and Calendar section again. The games were fun to him too.

The program is very user friendly. It does take it a while to load and if you have an impatient son like mine, that may be an issue for keeping them completely engaged. However, once the programs are up they seem to be entertaining enough for my son to want to continue to play them.

Now one lucky winner will be given the chance to win the chance to try out this program for themselves. It’s open to US residents 18 and older. Contest ends on March 4th, 2014. Winner must respond to winning email from tidbitsofexperience@gmail.com within 48 hours of the notice being sent with required information needed to receive their prize. If you can’t wait to win you can get your child ready using this Kindergarten readiness programs by K12. Try a sample activity today.

    Could really use this.

  2. Melissa Smith says:

My son is in PreK & we’re currently working on trying to get him ready for Kindergarten. He’s in the IEP class at school & has excelled tremendously. But he doesn’t want to have me work with him at home, so this program would be perfect!

  3. Rebecca S. says:

I’ve been looking into a variety of preschool programs to use at home, everything from pre-packaged kits to developing my own collections of thematic activities. After browsing the EmbarK12 website, I decided to search for reviews before I made a choice about whether to buy the program…and found a chance to win! :)

  4. Rebecca S. says:

Oops… let me answer the question you asked! I think my son would excel using this program because it’s interactive, colorful/visually interesting, and gets him some “screen time”! Plus, I have a newborn whose two favorite hobbies are 1-sleeping on my lap and 2-crying. This program would be something I could do with my son while my little girl is asleep on my lap!

  5. My daughter would excel in this program, because it would provide immediate feedback and would be interactive and positive. Thanks for the chance to win.

  6. My kids love learning through play!! I know they would excel from playing these games.

  7. Crystal Murphy says:

My 3 yo DS would excel because he loves all things computer so this is a great way for him to learn.

  8. He just turned 4 and loves watching his brothers do things on the computer. We preschool homeschool him but have never done ‘school online’ learning. Would love to try it!

  9. My daughter is advanced for her age and I’m looking for something we can do online at home to help grow her love of learning while waiting until she is school-aged.

  10. My kids would excel because it would be fun and they wouldn’t feel like they are working to learn!

  11. meaghan McD says:

With this program I could challenge my son at home!

  12. Kristie D. says:

I like my niece and nephew (3 year old twins) would love it because they love technology. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you!

  13. my daughter loves to learn, just not from me

  14. ashley cossette says:

My son loves playing with my kindle, his leappad, etc. my biggest problem with this however is that he wants to play games rather than do learning activities. I’d love to let him try this which seems to bring both learning and fun together! we’ve been working on his lettering, which he is okay at, but I’m hoping this would help in letter recognition :)

  15. My son really excels at learning while using technology, so this would be perfect for him!

  16. Also, many chemicals are corrosive, especially to circuit boards.
They do not know how to handle this unexpected crisis
situation, at least until their Utah water damage service
provider arrives. All you have to do is to have cedar paper, flexible sealants, flexible tape, a carpet knife and other carpet cleaning
    tools.
