How do you keep your kids busy and engaged while you are at the grocery store shopping? We have a simple grocery store scavenger hunt that is just what you need!
My boys love scavenger hunts! Last summer we made a Nature Scavenger Hunt for Kids and they used it over and over! Since then, I have come up with several different scavenger hunt options for them including a Road Trip Scavenger hunt that is perfect for long car rides as well as a Zoo Scavenger hunt that will help teach your children about animals while you are at the zoo.
Today’s Grocery Store Scavenger hunt is complete with photos of the items that kids will be searching for. This is a great way to get younger children who can’t read involved in the fun!
Be sure to print out your own copy below!
How to use the Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt
Step 1 – Simple print out the Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt.
Step 2 – Laminate it if you are able or want to so that it can be used any time you go to the grocery store.
Step 3 – Clip it onto a clip board for kids to use.
Step 4 – Give your kids a dry erase marker if you laminated the scavenger hunt or a pencil or pen. As you are shopping have them keep an eye out for the items on the list!
When I create scavenger hunts for my kids, I like to laminate them so that they can use them over and over again with a dry erase marker. This is also handy if they make a mistake, they can simply erase the mistake.
What types of scavenger hunts to do your kids enjoy? Be sure to check out our Nature Scavenger Hunt for Kids and have them get active outside this summer searching for pieces of nature in your yard or neighborhood.
