My husband and I are dieting… I am not fat but I am bigger than I should be.  Thankfully, I carry my weight well – but it is starting to be a problem!  My ankles, knees, and hips have all started causing me grief so that means… gotta lose the fat!

So, we have been eating tons of chicken… seriously!  4 oz of baked chicken is only like 100 calories… so, we have been cooking it up in batching and sealing it tight in individual packages.  This is cheaper than buy packages from the store AND we can season them the way they want.

Anyway, we are about out… so today I need to cook some more and seal them.

Be sure to print out your coupons this week!  Remember, you should be able to print them twice.

Monday: Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Tuesday: Taco Bake

Wednesday: Leftover Soup

Thursday: Kelli’s Spaghetti

Friday: leftovers

  3. I’m with you! I’m not fat but have gained more than I should’ve and my body is not happy. So I’m doing a “Spring cleaning” myself, lots of veggies, fruit and chicken, of course.
    That looks like a great plan so I wish you good luck on sticking to it for a long time :)

  4. My boyfriend loves chicken, we eat lots of it on the weekend. Good idea to buy in large portions and then package it.

    When you are loosing weight the GoGreenDoggieBag.com comes in very handy because…you can go out to eat then take the leftovers home safely in BPA free containers. Then make two meals out of one. You will quickly get in the habit of only eating 1/2 of meal served. Bon appetit!!
