Last June I had the pleasure of participating in an outdoor booty camp. Included with the camp fees was a fitness assessment at the beginning and end of the 4 week session, recipes and diet plan and a DVD of workouts designed by the creator. In order to participate in the booty camp it was suggested that we buy a yoga mat or bring towels so we had something soft between us and the pavement . Because I am frugal, I went in search of a cheap yoga mat to get me through the session. Around the second or third class I realized that I either needed to buy a better mat or remember to wear my workout gloves because my hands would get sweaty (you know it’s a good workout when your hands sweat ) and they would start slipping on the mat. Which got annoying real quick!
