This was me after I did the cinchspiration stuff. Unfortunately, I quit working out and became bigger than I was to start with. Dieting doesn’t work! It simply doesn’t work! You have to change your life, not diet. Now, I am working with Mamavation and Omron to change my life, not my weight! I am not showing a picture of me right now… instead I am showing what I want to be again. ![]()
Over the next 30 days, I am to bust behind working out and using the scale, dashboard, and step counter supplied by Omron. I am to eat healthy, but not diet! Will it work? Can I get myself back in the mindset of healthy?
So, @MrBookieBoo has given us a workout plan to follow, but I have also downloaded a neat app to my HTC WIndows 8X phone that says I can do 100 pushups in 6 weeks if I just follow it daily. Cool, right? So, in addition to doing my workout and walking 10,000 steps per day, I will be pushing myself to get up to 100 push ups!
Keep your eye on the #iHeartOmron hashtag on twitter to follow my journey. I will also check in each week here with what I have accomplished!
Exercise:
Ok, so I am supposed to be doing some major exercises 5 days a week. Plus, getting in 10,000 steps. I made the joke to my husband that if I am doing all that, it is no wonder I am supposed to lose weight. When on earth am I going to have time to eat at this rate?
How do you manage to get in your exercises each day?
As you can see from my dashboard below, I haven’t even come close to my goals. But, I am to actually start today so I am ok. Did you know that as someone who sits in front of my computer each day, I don’t even get 1,000 steps in per day unless I really push myself? Crazy, right!?
So, I have to try very hard each day to get these steps in. That means that I have to actually walk and I have to walk a TON! 10,000 steps is equivalent to approximately 5 miles. How in the world am I going to walk 5 miles a day and still get in everything else?
Wish me luck!

I like best what you say up top — dieting doesn’t work. It’s a bad word even. Good luck getting back on track in a healthy, awesome way!!
