GIVEAWAY: Help Raise Funds for the American Heart Association with the Master Love Lock Program

In support of the American Heart Association, Master Lock has launched a new program called the Master Love Lock Program. The program allows sweethearts, family members and friends to got to www.MasterLoveLock.com and virtually lock up their affection for loved ones or memorialize loved ones on various iconic bridges throughout the world in four easy steps – no travel required.

From Paris, France to Seoul, South Korea, “sweethearts” around the world affix padlocks to renowned gates and bridges to symbolize their love. Once on the Master Love Lock site, simply select a lock, choose a bridge to secure your lock to, and upload a private photo and personal message for your loved one. To officially lock-up your love, a customized “love lock invitation” is sent to the recipient via email. If your love lock is honoring someone lost, send the invitation to yourself for acceptance. Once the invitation is accepted, the love lock and message are posted on the site’s public gallery, securing this symbol of endearment forever.

Master Lock is donating an initial $10,000 to the American Heart Association and will donate an additional dollar for every love lock created and sent through the new site (up to $5,000) beginning October 19 through December 31, 2012. So be sure to head on over and send your loved one or ones a love lock!

To celebrate the launch of the program Master Lock has created a special Master Lock Love Lock. I was sent one for review and I really like this combination style pad lock, it’s a simple 3 digit code with no key to misplace or fumble with when you’re trying to unlock it! The cute little heart doesn’t hurt either . It’s great for everything from luggage to lockers. I’ll likely be keeping mine in my purse but you could use yours to “lock up your love” on a bridge someday
