Fresh, Healthy Cooking Made Easy with the NuWave Infrared Oven!

Sharing is caring!

When I’m busy, the first thing that tends to give way is healthy eating. It’s so tough to make sure you don’t fall into the trap of convenient junk food. I’ve been on a mission to overhaul my family’s eating habits, so when I had the opportunity to try out the NuWave Infrared Oven, I was totally game!

You may have seen the NuWave on TV — that’s where I initially learned about it! Those infomercials always hook me in, and I can’t stop watching. The NuWave was no different, but I quickly saw that I would truly benefit from this product.

Healthy Meals, Quickly!

The biggest benefit for me, personally, was the ability to cook healthy meals in the same time that it would take for me to whip some frozen nuggets on to a cookie sheet and bake them in the traditional oven.

The NuWave uses Triple Combo Cooking Power — a combination of Convection, Conduction, and Infrared cooking technology. This allows you to cook your foods perfectly, every time, and in a shorter amount of time than a traditional oven.

Another benefit that I am super excited about? You can put FROZEN FOODS into the NuWave oven! Place food, fresh or frozen, into the oven. There is no need to preheat or defrost. You can also try multi-layer cooking by arranging foods on each layer of the oven to make it a complete meal! This is pretty awesome. Forget to set out the chicken? No biggie! Just toss it in! And you can use any oven-safe pan or bakeware in the NuWave, so all of your pans that you have now will work with the NuWave!

Baking in the NuWave is awesome, too! You can bake breads, rolls, cookies, muffins and more inside the NuWave, and it wont heat up your entire kitchen! This is so important to me since I live in a warm climate — cooking and baking in the summer time is just plain hot, and I love that my oven wont be churning out heat!

Air-Baked, Oil Free Chicken Nuggets

I used my NuWave to make my kids’ favorite quick meal — Chicken Nuggets. Usually, this means a frozen, bagged food. I wanted to see how the NuWave would handle fresh foods, so I quickly cut three chicken breasts into chunks, and coated them by shaking them in a zippered baggie full of Italian breadcrumbs.

Easy enough, right? It took me all of five minutes to prep this meal! I baked them in the NuWave for 6 minutes, and the result was delicious!

My kids gobbled them up! Emma is usually my picky eater, and she asked for seconds. I was dumbfounded. My kids had healthy, fresh food in under 10 minutes, and it was good!

We’ve also reheated restaurant leftovers in the NuWave, and the come out crispy, fresh, and delicious! It’s our new countertop staple, for sure!

You can purchase a NuWave Oven for $149.95.

I received a NuWave Infrared Oven for the purposes of review. No money exchanged hands, and all opinions are my own.
