Menu Plan Monday: My Kitchen is in Shambles!

mpm Menu Plan Monday: My Kitchen is in Shambles!

So, it isn’t really my kitchen that is so bad right now, it is my dining area.  But, they are one big room. LOL!  Everything is in the middle of the room because we are repainting it.  You know, we have already redone both bathrooms and are now working on the kitchen.  Then, we will be doing the living room and finally the different bedrooms.  I am excited and loving how much better my house looks with a little fresh paint, floors, hardware, etc!

However, U hate not being able to eat at my table and it makes dinner prep hard.  I don’t have much in the way of counter space, so much of my food prep is done at that dining area table and I can’t do it right now!

So, my menu plan for the week is all very easy stuff that can be cooked and eaten without the use of our table!

Be sure to print out your coupons this week!  Remember, you should be able to print them twice.

Ok, on to my menu plan for this week:

MondayLeftover Soup (never got to it before and my bin is about to overflow)

Tuesday: leftovers

Wednesday: Out to eat – this is our 4 hours of dance night

Thursday: Ballpark food.  Tripp’s first game of the season!

Friday: Manwich Meatloaf and Potato Salad – thinking I should be all done by this day

I’m loving the leftover soup idea! What a great way to not only reuse food, but possibly incorporate a few extra fiber-rich veggies in the process.

  2. Vickie Couturier says:

Im really into the makeover leftover ideal,,I either make a soup or cassarole out of what was left over during the week an hubby takes a lot of it packed in his lunch so we dont waste anything

  3. I always have breakfast and lunch planned, but for dinner I fly by the seat of my pants. I probably shouldn’t do that anymore because we end up eating a lot of pizza. Thanks for sharing at Mom’s Library!
