Some of you have noticed that I send out a newsletter every so often. It is supposed to be once a week, but I almost NEVER remember to send it. LOL! Anyway, this week one of my readers, Crystal at Crystal and Company asked me how I sent a newsletter via Google Friend Connect. So, although I am supposed to be putting up the Google Analytics post, this seemed like a much more interesting Blogging Basics post. I will get to the other one eventually, after all… I write a blogging basics post every Wednesday!
OK, so Google Friend Connect does lots of different things from surveys to polls to newsletters:
Five steps to send a GFC newsletter:
Step 1: Go to My Google
Step 2: Choose Google Friend Connect (if you don’t see it, you may have to add it by going to Google Friend Connect and updating your stuff)
Step 3: Select the site you are wanting to send a newsletter for
Step 4: Click “send a newsletter”
Step 5: Fill out your newsletter and SEND. Be sure when “sending” to wait for it to be at 100% or else it will get stuck and not all of your GFC Newsletter subscribers will get the email.
Isn’t that simple? I still want to set up a real newsletter that collects a bit more data, but this free newsletter from Google Friend Connect is perfect for me right now!

Thanks I can use all the help I can get. I want to know if you entered the contest on one day and then came back the next day can you do additional stumbles etc or just the tweets. Can you add to the other giveaways you entered and add them to the giveaways you already entered? Rita
