If you are anything like me, you have TONS of digital pictures that just sit in your memory on your computer that never really make it to print.
You know those pictures that you don’t even remember taking, or seeing for that matter? That happens way to often these days to me, especially now that I have zero time to print and scrapbook. I love scrapbooking but who has the time to do it these days? I don’t, do you? So I’ve resorted to the second best thing available, digital-scrapbooking. Why? Well plain and simple it is a really easy way to bring all those sleeping pictures to life! Digital scrapbooking allows you to be creative and to display those lovely pictures of your kids, your beloved, or family and friends in easy clicks. What do I love best about digi-scrapping? That if I don’t like how something looks, I can just click and delete or replace anything from a picture to a background page. In addition, I can use and reuse templates and designs a fraction of the cost of buying paper items that can only be used once. So, I’m always on the hunt for a good program I can use to achieve just this…save time and money all in one – it’s a deal! This is why I was very excited to sign up to write up a review for Mixbook. Ever heard of them? I hadn’t either…but they are the best kept secret in the digi-scrapping world!
You may be asking why this is so? Well…mainly because unlike its competitors you have the option of starting from scratch…as in you can create your own pages with the layout and details that you like OR if you are in a time pinch or not feeling very creative, you can choose from their many beautiful ready templates/themes available or you can even mix and match them!
So what book am I working on now? Well, my mom’s birthday is coming up in August and I thought it would be a great perfect gift to gather pictures of my nephews and nieces and my kids and create a memory book for her! Can you imagine the surprise she will get when she receives this book containing pictures of her 12 grandkids in the mail? (we live in two different states).

Wow, this is pretty nifty. I am guilty of having folders and folders full of pictures that only exist in digital form, this looks like a pretty good solution. Thanks!
Trixie, This really is a great way to bring those pictures out and share them…I’m so glad Photo Books were invented!

This is pretty neat.. Scrapbook has been a great way to preserve your photos aside from online downloading.
