Confession time. In my 2+ years of cloth diapering, I’ve never owned a wetbag. It’s true! Since all I used were pocket diapers, I would just roll the soiled diaper up and attach the velcro tabs. When we were out and about, I’d bring along a grocery sack and put stinkies in there until we got home. This worked okay for us, but of course, the ideal situation is to have a wetbag so that you don’t smell the diaper or have … seepage. Gross!
Kissaluvs has developed a really fantastic product that I know you’ll love! Their new antibacterial wetbag is designed with SILVERPLUS, which is the same technology used by sports manufacturers like Nike and Under Armour for their active wear. This helps guard against the spread of yucky and health-hazardous bacteria while also forming a reservoir to battle odors. How smart is that?! Obviously, a dirty diaper is a fantastic place for bacterial growth, but we just can’t see it. Of course, you can’t leave a nasty diaper in the antibacterial wetbag for days and expect no bacterial growth, but I love that I can use this wetbag knowing that I’m working towards preventing growth on my babies diapers! Now that we use prefolds, a wetbag is an absolute necessity. The wetbag I received is the perfect size for a day outing, and I love the zipper closure. Oh, and did I mention it’s super cute? That certainly doesn’t hurt! Once we get home, I can just toss the bag in the wash along with my diapers and have a fresh bag for our next outing. Love it!
