Sound Beginnings Review and Giveaway

As I creep up on 37 weeks of pregnancy, I’m starting to really connect and bond with my baby. Of course, the second I found out I was pregnant, I had a maternal connection, but the reality of her impending arrival is getting closer, and I just can’t wait to share all of the wonders of the world with her.

Thankfully, I don’t have to wait to share the gift of music! I discovered a fantastic product called Sound Beginnings, which is a flexible fabric band that allows a pregnant woman to share music with her unborn baby in the womb! How awesome and innovative!

The Sound Beginnings hooks up to your mp3 player, and even includes a headphone splitter so that you can listen along with baby. I found this helpful, since I have a slew of songs on my iPod that probably aren’t something I’d play for my baby (hey, sometimes Jay-Z and Aerosmith are great motivators on a jog, but not so much for my little princess), so I could skip to the next song easily. What I loved most about Sound Beginnings was how truly comfortable it is. I ordered a size C, and even though my pre-pregnancy size was on the upward end of the scale, it fit beautifully. I wore it while making dinner, as well as while doing some household cleaning and it didn’t poke me, get in my way, or irritate me at all. In fact, it even helped keep my ill-fitting maternity jeans up! I loved the little pouch on the front, which freed up my hands and let me carry on with whatever task was at hand.

The neatest thing, I have to admit, is how Maisy (yep, that’s my little one!) reacted to different songs. During foot tapping tunes, she’d bop around and enjoy the music. During piano solos, she would chill out a bit and soak in the melodies. It’s so amazing to experience something so beautiful with your unborn baby. I would definitely recommend Sound Beginnings to any expecting mothers.

  4. I learned that they do not recommend using any smart phones with the Sound Beginnings® device. They also do not recommend any MP3 player that connects to the internet (wifi). Thanks.

  24. It is good creation but is you sure, it won’t harm the baby? Is it safe to place any electronic gadget that near to the baby? I am a little confuse abut it.
