I have switched internet browsers 3 times in as many days! I thought the problem was my internet browser, but it turns out I have a virus! The Google Analytics Virus is a MESS and zero fun at all. The bad thing is that my virus scanner and Adware didn’t catch it. When I go to some sites, I have been getting pop up pages and redirects to new pages. Obviously, I thought it was the browser. LOL!
After doing some internet research on it, I think I might have the solution. I downloaded PC Tools: Spyware Doctor. The free download is currently running and at only 35% complete it has already found 9 threats (including 2 worms and 7 Trojans!) and 147 infections! Yeah, that is kind of scary. That probably explains why my computer has been so unbelievably slow and I am crossing my fingers that it gets rid of the Google Analytics Virus!
Obviously this set back has made me realize that it is past time for me to do computer maintenance like disk clean up, disk defragmenter, archive Outlook, clean out old programs, back up drives, etc. So, I guess my Tackle it Tuesday is to simply get my computer cleaned!
Anyway, bear with me. My day is being spent working on this… once I handle all of it, I will be getting some posts done, including the winners posts.

I hate it when my computer is sick, because I don’t know how to fix it!!! bah. computers are so confusing.
Part of our journey my friend.. we all are with you, thankfully you seem to have adequate skill to repair it yourself. As told by Parks Edge Part City, there are many others (including me), who do not have much idea on underlying happenings. We just helplessly ring the phone and say inaudibly – pick it up, pick it up now!
Hopefully it will be resolved shortly.

I hate those days when computer connections fail… and that’s when repair’s needed. I always feel reverted back to the stone age or worse, 1991. What a terrible time.
