I can not believe it is the first day of school already! I hit panic mode yesterday evening when I realized that I hadn’t put Tripp’s homeschool work into Homeschool Tracker!
This month, our Unit Studies is on Pirates! I found some really neat stuff on National Geographic and Tripp is a Pirate addict, so I think this is a great way to start our school year. We always do normal school stuff an I like to do Unit Studies that Tripp likes. More on all that later. 
Anyway, I have scoured the internet in search of some Pirate themed recipes, so you will be seeing them!
Monday: Captain Crunch Chicken and Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Tuesday: Grandma Flo’s Shipwreck
Wednesday: Shipwreck Stew (I got the recipe at Allrecipes, but will be doing some major changes. Will try to link up recipe soon)
Thursday: BBQ Pork Chops and Potatoes & Cheese
Friday: Leftovers
We will probably be ready for something familiar come Thursday. LOL!
