My favorite memory was actually of playing Monopoly with my Dad on Halloween night! Running back and forth from the door and handing out candies in between turns. We only have Monopoly Jr now and it is my sons favorite, he has been begging me to get the grown up version.

We never had a game night back in the old-school days. As children, we were always playing games. We didn’t have to have a reason or set time for it. Our two favorites were Monopoly and Careers.

I posted this on Twitter, but I really thought I was the only one that collected Monopoly. I have probably about 50 different versions. And, I play every one of them. I even have an Italian, German and English version! It’s the first thing I have to try to find when I visit a foreign country. I can’t wait to tell my family that someone else collects them – they think I’m nuts.

When I was younger and we played monolopy I used to cry when I would land on a property that had motels.

My favourite family game night memory was when our boys were smaller and we used to have “Crazy Family Fun Night” where we would all crash in our PJ’s and our bedding in the family room. We would eat junk food, watch videos and play board games. Very precious memories!
