GIVEAWAY: Artwork and Homework Bag

How did you like yesterday’s Rubbermaid post? It is just going to get better as the month goes on!

I want you to meet Stacy Rajab of RetroModernProjects on Etsy. Stacy was a kindergarten teacher for 10 years. During that time, she noticed that many under-privileged children actually wanted to complete their homework, but didn’t have the necessary supplies. So, she created the Homework Bag. Personally, I think this is a FABULOUS idea! When I buy school supplies for my kids, I buy duplicates of pretty much everything. It doesn’t help the kids at home, but it does help them in school. Since I homeschool my oldest and have a little one still at home, I am not as involved in Zack’s school as I want to be anymore… so, this is my way of helping out!

Stacy paints canvas and includes recycled materials to create ultra Retro Modern art. What is your vice? recycled paper? What about blue jeans? If it is hip, Stacy paints it. Stacy has partnered with a school in south-central Los Angeles to help those children that are less fortunate. For every painting she sells, she is donating 1 of her homework bags and the school will be sure the right student gets it.

Anyway, Stacy’s Homework Bag has all the supplies the average child needs to complete their homework:

and Fun Stickers!
