Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Things have been just a hair crazy my directions since Saturday. 
On Saturday, I went with my Mom to get all the things for Mother’s Day dinner and she told me that the day before the doctors (that I didn’t even now about, BTW) had found bladder cancer in my Daddy and that he would be having surgery on Monday to get it all removed. Of course, I am one to try to fight my discomfort with humor, so I wanted to know about life insurance and Wills. So, I spent yesterday at the hospital with my mom and dad and everything seems to be ok at this point, though we really won’t know until all the lab results come back. I did pick on my Daddy one more time about getting some life insurance quotes and possibly funeral insurance. My Daddy thought I was funny, my mother not so much.

Since Mom is driving with me to Gatlinburg, I am not sure how this is going to work. You know, with Daddy and all!
Menu Plan Monday – I honestly am going to be winging it all week! Yesterday, my kids had ham sandwiches and right now I am thinking that will be good for tonight, too. LOL! I have so much to do this week that I don’t know when I am going to find time to cook! I might make a big pot of spaghetti tonight so that we will have it for a couple days. Uggh! Pizza is sounding pretty good, too. Be sure to visit Org Junkie for lots of menu plans this week since mine is kind of a moot point.
