Did you know this year marks Earth Day’s 40th anniversary?
Elmer’s is making it easier to be eco-friendly on Earth Day – and beyond. To coincide with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Elmer’s is inviting parents to get involved in the Elmer’s Glue Crew through the “40 Days of Earth-Friendly Living.” The campaign kicks-off on Earth Day (today) and offers a 40-day calendar of eco-friendly tips and ideas for parents and children to do together.
It includes things such as:
- May 8: Leave the car at home and walk to the store or a friend’s house
- May 12: When you brush your teeth, turn off the water when you’re not using it
APRIL 22nd – Day #1
Celebrate Earth Day’s 40th Anniversary and commit to being environmentally conscious by trying each of these 40 Earth-friendly tips during the next 40 days.
Mom Says: A great post for today would be to talk about Earth Day’s Anniversary and what role you are planning to play in this contest. Be sure to link it up below!
I will be posting each daily activity as well as a Mck Linky. You should write a blog post, facebook post, Whrrl photo book, YouTube video, Twitter, etc of what you are doing and include it in the linky. At the end of the 40 days, I will randomly choose one person (via Random.org) to win this awesome backpack of Elmer’s goodies!
How is that for going green, involving your family, and possibly winning a little something. Plus, you get to leave your links somewhere.
Just can’t beat this contest, can you?
Be sure your link is a direct link to the post, tweet, facebook post, etc o each day’s challenge! You may come back each day to add your new daily link.
*LINKY WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL JUNE 1st at MIDNIGHT* THE LINKY’S ON EACH DAILY POST WILL BE THE EXACT SAME ONE*
