Thanks to Savvy Blogging, I am a mentor. 
I tell ya’, it makes you feel like you have accomplished something when people are asking you for help. Anyway, I dropped my mentee an email and made a short list of things that I saw she needed to add or improve on. Of course, these 7 don’t even touch the iceberg, but they are a great starting point for anyone just getting going with blogging.
