(CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Take Care of My Computer! TuneUp Utilities 2010 Review and Giveaway

Boxshot TUU 2010 3D 419x595 72dpi left (CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Take Care of My Computer! TuneUp Utilities 2010 Review and Giveaway I reviewed the TuneUp Utilities 2009 earlier this year and loved it.  So, of course I was happy when asked if I wanted to try out the updated version, TuneUp Utilities 2010!  2010 has many of the same features of 2009 as well as updated and new ones.  I am not going to make this super long post, because you can see it all at the website.  I really just want to give my opinion. icon smile (CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Mom Says:  I LOVE IT!  I think my favorite part is how idiot proof it is. icon smile (CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Take Care of My Computer! TuneUp Utilities 2010 Review and Giveaway   I am pretty good with computers, but even still, I don’t know all the things I need to do to keep my computer at optimum speed and performance.

For example:  I had a TON of programs start every time I turned on my computer.   I have always wanted to keep them from starting up, but wasn’t sure if they had to start or not.  TuneUp Utilities 2010 walks you through many recommendations telling you what each of your start up programs are and what they do and tells you if it is needed or not. icon smile (CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Take Care of My Computer! TuneUp Utilities 2010 Review and Giveaway I really can’t say it better than I did last time!

In a nutshell, TuneUp Utilities 2009 is like having my own personal Geek Squad inside my computer! If you are not a member of the Geek Squad, I highly recommend you spend the 50 dollars to purchase this very easy to use, user friendly program to get your computer tuned up and keep it that way.

Except that now it is TuneUp Utilities 2010! icon smile (CLOSED) I Resolve To.. Take Care of My Computer! TuneUp Utilities 2010 Review and Giveaway

  • New to the 2010 version, TuneUp Turbo Mode allows users to temporarily switch off a large number of unnecessary background processes—with a single click.  Consumers will see fewer program interruptions and an increase in the frames per second (FPS) in games.
  • TuneUp Live Optimization monitors and prevents background programs from using up too much of the PC’s resources.  The function helps improve programs’ startup and response times, even when computers are bogged down with a number of applications running simultaneously.

TuneUp Utilities 2010 can be purchased via download at www.tune-up.com and also as a box in stores.  The software, which can be used on up to three computers, costs $49.95, and users of previous software versions can upgrade to the latest one for a discounted price of $29.95.

TuneUp Utilities has graciously offered one of their 2010 Utilities (a $49.95 value) to one of my readers!

The biggest problem with my computer is that, because it’s shared, there are (too) many things running at once, which makes it S-L-O-W!
