The Baby Dipper Bowl is a great bowl for feeding infants and for toddlers to use when learning to feed themselves.
You can now feed your baby with just one hand! This is the great invention of Barbara Schantz, mother of two sets of twins! You can read about how she came up with the idea here.
From www.babydipper.com:
“Parents can use their free hand to clean or entertain baby, or to keep baby’s hands out of the bowl.
Toddlers can see through the transparent sides of the bowl and concentrate on getting the food onto their spoons and into their mouths.
All users of the Baby Dipper feeding set avoid the frustrations of chasing the food around the bowl and the bowl around the table!”
It features-
-Non-slip base to help prevent sliding
-Spoon-shaped lower corner to make scooping food easier
-Contoured interior which guides the spoon to the food
-Transparent sides allow easy viewing of food
My Review
I was able to use this on both my 5 month old and my 2 year old. And I loved it! I set the bowl on the tray of my baby’s chair while feeding him and even though he tried to grab it, it didn’t even move. (I’m sure once he’s older he’ll be able to, but for now it’s wonderful.) I hadn’t ever thought of having to hold his bowl of food as a pain but being able to set the bowl down and not worry about it moving, sliding or getting bumped was awesome! I can’t tell you the times my baby has caught me off guard and hit the bowl I was holding in my hand, knocking it to the floor. I didn’t have to worry about that.

I even let my 6 year old try feeding him. Something I would never do with any other bowl.
I also love that it slopes on the inside. I hate wasting food (even baby food) and always scrape the sides of the bowl to get the last few bites in. This time the food just naturally did that. It was great!
You really can feed a baby one handed! What a genius idea! You can help another child with their dinner, talk on the phone, work on dinner, or any of the other million things moms always are doing.
It also was great for my 2 year old. I tested it out on him with cereal and milk. Something I dread letting him eat on his own because it inevitably ends up on the floor or at least half on the table. But with this bowl, not a single spill! I didn’t have to sit by him anxiously waiting to prevent any spills. Amazing!

This is truly a great invention! You will love it for your baby and toddler!

I love that the shape of the bowl allows the child to scoop the food without tipping the bowl.

I Actually want to get this for a friend. I love the idea that it doesn’t slide around when learning to self-feed. I also think that the curve of the spoon will help in learning how to get that spoon in their own mouths.
Thanks for this great give away!
