Mom Says:  I am a Romance reader, but I like to mix it up a bit.  Since I have a huge stash of Historical Romances, I was getting sick of them.  This came just in time.  There’s nothing like curling up with a good mystery when the wind is howling against the windows!  Add some homemade cookies (and the recipe) from the recipe at Good Read Mysteries, and you have a great gift!

Mom Says:  We are a major board game family (as you would know if you saw my cabinet clean out post ) We have Family Fun Night at our house weekly and while we play the Wii or PS2 sometimes, we typically go to the closet and pull a game.  For the past 2 weeks (and days that aren’t Family Fun Night) the boys have pulled out Connect 4 x 4.  Thomas is only 3 and he enjoys it… granted he doesn’t “get it” but he loves working his motor-skills and sorting skills.   Great game for anyone!  Have a family that you need to buy for?  Give them the hottest board game of the season!
