Day #19 Adovia Spa Review and Giveaway

Welcome to DAY NUMBER NINETEEN of the Back 2 School Blog Bash 2009 – 30 Days of Giveaways, at 3 Boys & a Dog! Day #19 Adovia Spa Review and Giveaway

Thanks to Lisa at It’s a Glam Thing for having her client Adovia help out with the Back 2 School Blog Bash!  I have done a review of Adovia ’s Bath Salts before, you can find it HERE.

The Moisturizing Mineral Soap is super yum!

Adovia all natural Mineral Salt Soap contains a unique combination of Dead Sea minerals and trace elements derived from Dead Sea Salt. This soap removes dirt and cleanses your skin, while simultaneously infusing it with minerals essential to keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized. This mineral-rich Moisturizing Salt soap is a healthy and popular alternative to regular soaps which leave your skin dry and flaky. The natural balance of your skin will be restored and your skin will have that healthy glow.

Mom Says:  I have oily skin, so was worried about washing my face with soap that has oil in it.  It did not leave my skin feeling oily!  You know how some soaps make your face feel all tight?  This soap does not.  It feels really nice!  Plus, it is for face and body which is a really great time saver for a busy mom!  Too many times, I wash my face with the soap in my shower because it is convenient, not great for my face but quick and easy!  With this I can start at my face and work my way down without having to switch soaps nor having to worry about the damage the regular soap is causing.

Dead Sea Minerals – Over 26 minerals essential for skin health including:

  • Zinc: Facilitates skin cell renewal

  • Bromide: Relaxing and soothing effect on the skin

  • Sodium: Improves the skin’s metabolism

  • Calcium: An important ingredient in skin cell protection

  • Magnesium: Stimulates protein synthesis

Palm Oil – Natural oil forms the base of this soap. Allows for gentle cleansing and moisturizing without over-drying.

The Dead Sea Bath Salts with Acai Berry Oil “ain’t nothin’ to sneeze at either”!

Benefits of Dead Sea Bath Salts:
Our bath salts are a soothing blend of legendary Dead Sea rich-mineral salt along with with natural aromatic (Essential) oil for super relaxation. Our bath salts contain a unique composition of mineral salts, minerals and trace elements for soothing, moisturizing effects on the whole body. Like nothing else, these salts will relax your muscles, enrich your skin with healthy minerals and wash away all your stress and worries. These wonderfully scented salts bring the premier spas of the Dead Sea to your bathtub. Immerse yourself in the waters of well-being.

- Stimulate circulation through body as well as skin
- Relieve joint/muscle aches and pains.
- Soothe and soften your skin.
- Warm and relax the muscles.
- Helps relieve lower back pain
- Relieves pain due to over exertion.
- Effective at relieving Eczema, acne, Psoriasis, muscle aches and pains

Mom Says:  It is Fall!  That means the weather is changing, it rains constantly and it a little cooler in the morning.  What does that mean?  Well, for us “old folks,” it means all our old bump and bruises start giving us fits.  It is so nice to relax at the end of the day with these fabulous salts in my hot bath!  I am not sure how I feel about the Acai Berry smell.  It is very strong and unlike anything I have ever smelled before.  At first, I hated the smell, but as I continued to use it, I am not sure if it grew on me or what.  It does not stink, but as I said, it is different.  I am a fruity person and this doesn’t have a fruity scent.
