I try to buy a lot more than what's on the school supply list because prices are just incredible at that time of year. I try to buy enough to last until the next year's sales.

I have been stocking up on school supplies when I see them on sale.
Watch for sales (there will be plenty) and use coupons.
i usually go to walmart they have some awesome sales on back to school supplies
